AN AFTERNOON AT THE F PROJECT

The first major event that The F Project’s youth space has seen was FreeZa’s “An Afternoon at The F Project”; a family-friendly open mic event with food trucks, hula hooping & chalkboard drawing sessions with young artist Olive Adams. The event was attended by 184 people. Nine young musicians performed, two young people were paid to run workshops, one young audio engineer was paid, and four young people volunteered their time. Though this event was organised by FreeZa, it activated our youth space with a bang and assisted in raising awareness of the space and our commitment to the young people of Warrnambool. The F Project extends their gratitude towards FreeZa and looks forward to future collaborations.
