Ekphrastic Writing Workshop - Friday 12 November from 7pm-9pm

Join our writer-in-residence, Leanne Moden, for this free online workshop. Visual art is used as the starting point for creative writing (known as ekphrasis). Inspired by our November exhibition, From the Night Garden by artists Julie Keating and Alison McIntosh, we’ll discover the key to mindful writing, and learn how to use visual art to create great poems and stories. It’s free to participate in this workshop, but places are limited. Please book on Eventbrite through this link

Crowd-Sourced Poem

Our writer-in-residence needs your help! She’s searching for inspiration for a poem, based on the F Project. Leanne says: “I'd love to hear what you think about the F Project - share your memories, thoughts and experiences of the organisation, and I’ll use all your responses as inspiration for a crowd-sourced poem, reflecting the community in a joyful and celebratory way! So, whether you're a local artist, an art-lover, a volunteer or a member of staff, I'd love to hear from you! The finished poem will be shared online and I can't wait to shape your words into a lovely collaborative piece!” Use the form below to share your thoughts: https://forms.gle/E7r3sfZTRDMchs7Y7 .
