Feeling creative? Come to a workshop! All are welcome from complete beginners to practising artists who wish to brush up on their skills. Meet people; learn stuff!
All talks are free and the workshops are exceptional value as we aim to make them as accessible as possible. F Project members receive a discount. F Project volunteers get one free workshop a year. To find out what volunteering involves go to the volunteer page on this website. Every workshop has a sponsored space for those who can’t quite manage the cost, but would love to go. If this is you, email us stating what participating in the workshop would mean to you. Here is an overview of some of the workshops that ran in 2015.
Want to hold a workshop? Come and share your skills and talents with others! Tell us your idea on our Workshop Proposal Form.
Highlights have included: limestone carving, silk screen printing, comic writing, ceramics, life drawing, oil painting, basket making, embroidery, song writing, watercolour painting, print making (lithographs), felt making and eco-dying, pattern cutting (fashion), collage/mixed media and crochet…just a few to whet your appetite! Our workshops and talks are held at the artery or SW TAFE and carried out by makers and creators from the community. They may be current exhibitors or local practitioners. Get involved by emailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org
